Navigate Life Transitions with
Hummingbird
Grief, Loss, and Transition Support Groups
for Women
Hummingbird grief, loss, and life transition support groups for women serve as a compassionate environment where individuals can share their experiences of loss or significant life transitions and find solace in the presence of others who understand their pain.
Safe Space
Our groups provide a safe space for expressing emotions, offering mutual support, and sharing life stories without judgment. Come experience a sense of belonging and shared experience, which can be particularly empowering for those of you who may feel isolated in your struggles.
Empathetic Guidance
Facilitated by a licensed psychotherapist and a trauma specialist, Dr. Denisa Millette, our groups help participants feel less isolated, validate their feelings, and promote healing through connection and shared experiences. Whether in person or online, our groups accommodate various forms of loss, ensuring that every woman finds a supportive community to aid in her journey towards recovery.
Personal Growth
We will discuss grief and the emotional, physical, and psychological impacts of loss as well as learn coping strategies to navigate the process of grieving and transitioning, such as mindfulness, journaling, gentle mind-body practices, and creative expression. We will also share resources such as books, articles, and websites about grief and healing.
Why Hummingbird?
In many cultures around the world, a hummingbird is seen as an indication of good news, overcoming difficult times, freedom, and impending positive changes. The Humminbird group has been inspired by this beautiful and gentle bird as a representation of endurance, resilience, recovery, health, vitality, joy, and happiness.
